Bookings and Cancellation Policy
100% charge to all bookings.
Any third party agent please refer to terms made during your booking.
Cancellation details:
In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.
The Southbourne Grove House (Hotel) reserves the right to cancel a booking forthwith and without liability on its part, in the event of damage/ destruction of the building, loss of power/ water supply or any other cause beyond the control of the Southbourne Grove Hotel which shall prevent it from honouring its obligations to the Guest. In such circumstances the Southbourne Grove House will refund deposit made but will have no further liability to the Guest.
Payment and Prices
All prices and balances are should be paid in Pounds Sterling.
We do accept cash, bank transfers, bacs and card payments. Vat not applicable.
Occupancy
Arrival: Rooms are available for check in from 2pm (check in times can be earlier or later by prior arrangements)
Departure: Rooms must be vacated by 11am
The number of people occupying room must not exceed the designated and booked amount.
Absolutely no subletting to third parties.
Loss or Damage to Property
The Southbourne Grove House (Hotel) does not accept responsibility for loss/ damage to any cash, jewellery or any other articles of value.
The Southbourne Grove House does not accept responsibility for loss/damage to cars or any other vehicles of any kind or any property lost/damaged
in them.
Additional Information
Coffee and tea available.
The hotel cannot accommodate under 10 years of age until agreed.
Wireless internet is available and free of charge.

There is no smoking permitted anywhere in the building.
Smoking is allowed in the car park.
No Stag and all male groups!
Parking
Limited parking is available outside the House and is free of charge.
On street parking is available and free of charge. The house is not responsible for any damages to, or theft from your vehicle.
Respect, Courtesy and Dignity are the standards by which patrons will be dealt with whilst at our guest house. Unfortunately there are a few who do not treat our staff or property in a similar manner and for those we need these regulations.
You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you and/or those that accompany you, whether they are staying in the guest house or not, cause damage to the guest house, accommodation and its contents including the car park and associated parts.
We ask that you report any incidents as they occur.
While we do not normally charge for minor accidental breakages we will charge and debit your card for the full cost of all other breakages, missing items and for the replacement and/or making good of any damage.
We may also make a further charge of £50 if you did not report such an occurrence.
Additionally there will be a charge of £100 for soiled bedding, towels, carpets, furnishings and décor caused by, but not limited to, vomit, food and drink stains, blood and bed wetting.
The guest house will also charge in full for any lost room nights resulting from any such damage and incidents mentioned in these conditions.
Excessive noise, unruly and threatening behaviour and the like which causes inconvenience and discomfort to our other guests and/or staff is not acceptable. Such behaviour will result in the offending person/s being asked to vacate their room and leave the guest house premises but will be charged for their booked stay

Use Of The Kitchen
Please enjoy full use of the house kitchen.
By doing so you agree to the following:
The duty manager will do a brief over view of the kitchen and instruct you on
the use of the facilities.

The kitchen must be left in the same state it was found, please clean up after use.

Ensure gas cooker is properly turned off when not in use.

Take care with sharp knives and hot surfaces.

Familiarize yourself and your guests with the locations of fire extinguishers and fire escapes.

Note the location of the First Aid Box

The house is not liable for any injuries to yourself or your guests whilst using the kitchen.
Report any damage or breakages to the duty manager, this saves an awful lot of time and effort at a later stage for everyone.
Chances are the house will not bill for small items or small genuine accident
